Citroen Berlingo 2004 Radio won‘t work
#1
Hello Guys,

I‘ve just bought a 04 Berlingo. Unfortunately the Radio doesn‘t work at all. Seems like somebody added aswell a hands-free device.

Even when I pluged out the handa-free device and put the radio straight in it didn‘t work.

Could eventually anybody help?  Big Grin

Thaanks

I think you may have posted this in the incorrect model sub-forum. If your model is from 2004, then it would be an M59 model.

We need a bit more info than in your post, is the radio the original Citroen fit unit or an after market unit?

Does the multi-function display on top of the centre console work?

Ou I‘m sorry for that!

It‘s an original radio, and yes the console on top works perfectly!

Not a problem, it's just if you post in the correct sub-forum [M59] in your case, you are likely to get more replies.

As the display is working correctly, it is unlikely to be a fuse, as the fuse does both the radio and the display console.

I would think, as you say someone has added an aftermarket hands-free device in the wiring, they have altered the wiring in some way and caused a problem. You will probably need to check wiring with a meter to see in you have 12V coming into the radio on the supply line.

Fuse box/Wiring diagrams for you model are on this thread: https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-17165.html
