Android auto and infotainment update

Hello, 

I just got a 2017 Berlingo enterprise, and quite pleased with the presence of a touchscreen head unit.

Unfortunately, it does not have android auto. I tried to do some research, and it seem like an update of the "SMEG" could bring AA feature, the only issue is, I was unable to find either the file or the app used to generate/download the file. 

Is my only option paying a dealer?

I tried, then my system went wacky for a while. That was just connecting it to my phone. From what I understand, it's easier to just give up. I've never heard anyone mention taking it to a dealer, but I guess it's just fear of the prices that will be charged.
