Popped into local Halfords store this morning to purchase some touch up paint. This turned out to be more difficult that first anticipated.
The store charts appear to be confusing, a Halford employee asked what my paint code was, I replied I didn`t know as I was hoping the instore charts could assist me. They suggested I look inside the bonnet or possibly inside the door aperture.
I went back outside and took the attached photo from the inside of my bonnet. This suggests the paint code as 163.
I returned inside the store and the Halfords employee gave me a puzzled look when I displayed the photo showing paint code 163. They returned to their instore charts, gave a deep breath and declared there was nothing like the 163 to suggest a match with their details. Baffling they mentioned. I suggested I would go away and carry out some more research.
Could anyone offer any help and assistance. Is 163 the correct code?
Many thanks in anticipation for all offers of help.

Not sure what that code is on the sticker but it isn't a Citroen colour code as they tend to be three or four letters.
The paint code is normally found on Citroen vehicles on the door pillar, the same sticker that has the tyre pressures listed as in the image
What is the year/model of your nemo? Is your vehicle actually the one in your profile image?

Many thanks Multispacer for your reply.
I have checked the door pillars, only the near side has a chart with tyres pressures but nothing I recognise with a paint code , see attached photos
The vehicle in the profile image is indeed my car, its a 2009 Citroen Nemo Mutlispace HDI 8V, according to log book variant AJ8HS*, version AJ8HSL.

So given the year and colour [red] and your sticker that has '163' on it maybe have a look at 163B which seems to feature as a metallic red on PSA group vehicles of your year.
If you do a search on Citroen Nemo 2009 163B you should get up a number of results [most seem to be just aerosols but there are some touch up paints around
like this on Amazon UK : https://www.amazon.co.uk/TRISTARcolor-To...B01GQ0THDS
It might also be worth checking with a local Citroen dealer [if there is one near you] as I got a two part touch up kit [paint and clear lacquer] for my Berlingo from my local dealer [which had to be ordered in but only took about a week] for a reasonable price and they would probably be able to tell you if 163B is definitely correct for your vehicle

Thankyou very much Multispacer for your message, I appreciate your continued help and interest.
I did some basic research last night, it appears the colour could possibly be Rouge Lucifer
Unfortunately we have no local Citroen garage/dealership, Duff Morgan up and went some months ago.
I have been speaking to a neighbour who had a similar issue with his classic car. He recommended a firm called Granville Supplies, he took his car there, they scanned the colour on his car before mixing him some paint up. He got a spray can of base coat and a spray can of lacquer. As they are only a couple of miles away I think I might call in and speak to them
