[Engine] What is this part?
#1
Photo
I have a 2001 Berlingo 1.4i petrol van, and could do with some help identifying a part. A tube comes out of the inlet manifold, and runs into a component at the back of the battery box. Can anyone tell me what that part is, and what it's supposed to be doing? I attach a couple of photos, showing he tube, and the component it runs into. Thanks.

Its not clear (to me anyway) what tube you mean .

If you marked it with a line or something on the photo things will be a lot clearer .
I'd use the fullscreen snip app at the bottom right on w10 taskbar

Sorry. I've highlighted the tube I mean in blue. It's the same tube in both photos, running from the manifold, into the component.

The component looks like it's part of the Citroen build. But could it be part of the AC LPG conversion that's been fitted? There was a T connector joining the same tube to a brass nozzle at the bottom of the LPG pump.

It's part of the LPG installation.

Can anyone help me with this ? If I remove the LPG installation, to where, or to what should I connect the tube coming out of the inlet manifold ? It's circled in yellow. Thanks.

There should be a line going to the Brake servo, but I think that one is attached further down the inlet manifold?

Yes, there's nothing going from the sagem inlet manifold fitting to the brake servo. I've got it running fine now, and it runs to the LPG MAP sensor. The problem turned out to be a faulty injector. (petrol injector)
