New member hello

Hi my name's Jonny, driver of 2021 electric FlaIr XTR with about 17,000 miles on the clock. I've done about 3000 miles in it so far and I'm quite happy with it. It's my second electric car and the dust I've owned, previously having driven an electric Hyundai Ioniq on a lease for three good years. The Berlingo is less efficient but has the room and power I need.

Hi Jonny, and welcome from a fellow E Berlingo owner. I have had mine from new, and am very happy with it. My only gripe is the range, but I knew that before I bought it, so can’t complain.
In the 18 months I have had it I have only used a public charger once, so the range issue is in my head and not a real problem.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome!  My commute is a 50ish mile round trip and I can charge up overnight at home so it's not a problem in the day to day but yeah I wish I had more range for occasional longer trips, especially as rapid charging is disgracefully overpriced. I'm getting about 160 miles predicted at the moment, using eco mode most of the time and usually on country roads so rarely over 60mph. My Ioniq (2020 model) did 220miles on a 38kwh battery in the summer, absolutely great car.  I did Nottingham to the south coast in it a couple of times, on a one-stop strategy using the charging hub at a park n ride in Oxford.  It'd have to be at least two stops in the Berlingo, probably cost me £40+, but at least it charges nice and quick.

Good on you for buying yours from new. Innovation needs early adopters Smile
