I was having a look around a brand new Citroen Berlingo MPV this week,
Citroen have downgraded factory tyres from a premium Michelin tyre to a mid range Nexen tyres.

It’s no surprising I guess, probably a decent saving to be made
I will always stick with Michelin myself

Purchased a new Berlingo last month. Nexan tyres fitted. Oh well, what can you do?
First: M49 Forte (Petrol)
Then: B9 XTR (Diesel)
Now: K9 Plus with Style Pack (Petrol)

Are Michelins that good ? For my last 3 Berlingos the Michelins have run about 30k miles & they have always been replaced by far cheaper Avon ZV7 which last just as well & grip just as well imho. Also I have always found that towards the end of their lives Michelins tend to get cracks in the tread but not the case with Avons. Last set were fitted in my drive by Halfords for no extra cost.
