I have p0087 faulty after few weeks after replacing fuel filter.have a fuel leak under the car not from filter housing.its look like an over flow hose or something..i trying to understand if not prime the new filter well can cause it.car run well but only when starter ignite its take a second more

If it was me I'd remove the filter, clean all all the connectors, check the fuel bleed / water drain valve is tight and see what happens.

P0087 is for low fuel pressure, your leak will likely be your cause.
