Firstly, a big thanks to all who post on this forum. I have lurked on here since being an owner of a 2013 Multispace XTR and have found it invaluable in keeping small annoyances in check with all the help suggested in the forum.
Now to my own experience of replacing the Eolys DPF fluid...
I removed the offside rear wheel and jacked up the car as safe as it would go (ramps and wood chocks added under structurally sound points as a safety catch all). This left a large enough gap in the wheel arch to access the connector at the rear of the Eolys tank with my left hand. There is not much room for sausage fingers between any existing brake lines in the immediate area, and so I could only get access to one of the two release buttons on the connector. No cigar! It would not release.
So I tried to access the opposite button with my right hand from the underside of the car, whilst depressing the one that I could reach with my left hand. There was not enough room to get access with my right hand so..... I bent a short, flat head screwdriver approx 45 degrees down the shaft and used that instead of my right hand. This could get inbetween the tank case and the depressible button opposite the one that I could reach. When I levered up against the tank casing gently, the buttons depressed and off came the tubing easily.
This gave simple access to attach the filling tube that came with my kit:

Filling was straight forward and I used two full litre bottles with no overflow coming from the discharge tube.
Reconnected the tank loop hose and all was done. About 30 minutes, but now I know how to get the connector off it would be less than half that time. Well within the scope of a DIY'er.
Now to find a reasonably priced Diagbox equipped garage local to Penzance to reset the errors.
Thanks again.
