Heater blower
#1
Hey lads the blower just stopped on the way home from work this evening.  It doesn’t work on any setting. The last time it gave trouble it only worked on the highest setting so I replaced the resistor pack above the throttle pedal and that sorted it. Now it’s totally gone so what should I check? Is the fuse for it inside the cabin or under the bonnet? That’s all I know to check. Any help appreciated ??

The blower motor is in the drivers footwell and has a plug on it that connects to the motor. You could check that for voltage when the blower is turned on.

If it’s the motor then they’re cheap enough to replace, just make sure you get the correct one

Another item that can cause the blower to fail on all settings is the control relay. As you're in Australia you are also right hand drive the relay is up above and behind the glove-box on the passenger side [you need to release some of the lining behind the glove-box. The relay is a plug in type and easy to change.

For part numbers, have a look at the catcar info site, if you put in your VIN on the site it takes you to a part catalogue for your vehicle:
