MOT advisory..

Good news, she passed her 5th MOT first time again....

I do like using the Council MOT depo as they don't do repairs so there's no attempt to get work from you.

However, I got two advisories. One was the split seam on the back box of the exhaust, which was flagged two years ago and whilst it stays in one piece it will remain that way!!

The other was the front suspension bushes were starting to wear. I've not got my Haynes handy, but has anyone changed these? Are they a DIY job or not??

Front bushes aren't too hard. The eye bushes might need some internal clearing then the shells slotting longways from inside with a hacksaw blade. When replacing the P bushes make every effort to align the new bush with the original location of the removed part.
