Changing the bare back to wood to convert to gardening van
#1
Photo
How are we lads, I’ve got a 2013 short wheel based berlingo. I got it basically like new in the back but I’m wanting to convert it into a gardeners van for my business. I’m trying to find like wooden pannelig that I can drill hooks onto. Any ideas where I could find some, or best to get them cut out myself? Cheers

The curves of the load compartment mean a plyline kit is expensive but worth it unless you are handy enough to diy.
The simplest solution would be to screw battens to the girders where the Windows would be and then sandwich some hardboard panels in between.
Not elegant but functional.
Or make your own panels from plywood using cardboard as templates

Depends on your bank balance/time available/skillset
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

£120 isn’t a bad price, but I’m tight so going to have a crack at it myself! Gona use some metal wire to outline the shape onto some plywood and see how that turns out. Thanks for the response

If thin ply, why not glue off cuts in the back so you can have some extra thickness for screwing into it.

For shape I cut carboard traced round that on ply.

Beware dirt and rubble will migrate into the cab-seal off the floor.
It is on my to do list.
