Engine magagement light come on miles from home

Any help appreciated here . Away on holiday, 200 miles from home and engine managment light has come on with a 'take it to the dealer' warning .
We haven't got the 700miles countdown, just the management light. Car running fine . Will we make it home ?

If it's Amber then yes you will- and avoid the dealer when you get back-get someone who cares.

Thanks for your help. Found a local garage before setting off back home, the mechanic ran a quick diagnostic test and came up with a few emission control system faults (that I should have taken note of but all a bit rushed). Best he could do on the spot was clear them for me and send me on my way. Made it the 184miles home without any reoccurrence, so we will see how it goes. My only thoughts are we had driven over 100 miles fully loaded towing a trailer with  the aircon blasting away in start stop heavy traffic on a very hot day, maybe a overheating thing ?
