Stereo upgrade recommendation

Hi folks,

Having finally got fed up of listening to Radio 2 on long drives, I'd like to upgrage my cassette radio to a unit with an aux connection and a CD player, so I can combine my love of early 2000s technology.

My question is: what unit would be easiest/most convenient to upgrade to? Could I even buy a second hand unit such as this, and install it reasonably hassle free (for a novice)?

Any advice on adapter kits etc also greatly appreciated.

Hi pal,

Did you have any luck finding much info on replacing stereo?
I’m looking to do the same, but ideally for a usb and/or Bluetooth. Currently have the one in mine that you linked. But I only get about 5 stations (it may not help get me more, but worth a try before replacing aerial cable).
