More Part Number Help Please etc

Hello forum, I need help with a couple of things, if you please.

2012 B9 Van HDi 75 Enterprise (BJ62AKU)

1.  On the inside of the N/S rear door, at the bottom, there is a bolt but the thing that it should locate into is broken in half and CatCar hasn't helped me with finding a number - I don't even know what to all it?
2.  My van has no front fog lamps but the bumper suggests that they could possibly be retrofitted.  Is this possible and would the wiring exist in the loom.  Where and how would one switch then on and off if they could be added?
3.  AC.  Mine is pretty much awful to non-existent.  However, when I switch the engine off I can hear a strange sound for a few seconds; a sort of gentle rhythmic wheezing.  Would that be linked to the AC?

Thanks as always.  I did manage to change my battery the other day with the help of YT video so I cracked my Berlingo virginity!

1. If you post an image of what you mean it might give people a few more clues?

2. The wiring may well be there for the front fog-lamps [if you un-clip the inner wheel arch covers you should be able to see] but there will be some other factors to consider if it is worth the hassle. Your vehicle probably hasn't got the two position stalk switch that turns on first the front fogs and then the rear, so you would need a new switch assembly. Secondly, it would probably need to to 'activated' via a Lexia/PP set-up. Why do you think you need front fogs? I had them on both my Multispace models [M59 and B9] and rarely used them, in fact they can be a bit of a pain as being low down, with the state of the UK roads as on both my models, I ended up having to replace one of the units as the lenses are glass and with all the loose matter on roads they ended up getting broken by stones/debris thrown up from the road. If it is just more light you are seeking, just get something like 'Osram Nightbreaker' headlamps and fit them they are a lot brighter [and legal] Make sure you get the brightest version though as they come in various types. You want the +200% model, or the even brighter +220%. Don't go for any LED replacement type lamps for the Berlingo as they are not legal in the UK [even though they are in some other countries such as Germany]

3. Your A/C may need re-gassing/checking for leaks. The wheezing you can hear is probably the normal sound these vehicles make on shutdown as the fuel system de-pressurizes

Thanks for the swift response ...

1.  The "thing" is a plate/locator for the NS door bottom bolt artifact in case, for some obscure reason, you can't close the OS door because of, mayle, long payload?

2.  Made me smile as I use those bulbs you mentioned and only last night NS dip blew at the start of 90 mile journey home.  FML.  I always had front fogs on the Connect and found that I used them 100% of the time at night in order to better see, (and avoid), the terrible pot holes that abound.  I did get a broken glass as you mentioned.

3.  Might be a Kwik-Fit trip as they had an offer on that said no pay if they find that they can't re-gas.  Free diagnostic!

That's the one Drummond.  Great work.  I don't know how I don't get the same results on my CatCar because I search the parts using my VIN number but ...  I bow to superior skill and knowledge.

3 - A weird "hooting" sort of noise, maybe 3 or so times?

EGR valve. Normal.

Aircon tends to make odd noises (hiss, whooshing) when running, and the gas pressure is too low.

That's exactly what I was trying to convey. Thanks. I've never had AC so didn't really know if it liked to make sounds. Every day is a school day for me right now Smile
