Hello everyone from West Sussex, I found this forum whilst searching online for information on replacing the bulbs in the back of the clock. Very useful guide on here and slightly more helpful than my local Citroen dealer has been with sourcing parts!
I'm no stranger to automotive forums, having been a member of various Ford Sierra and Rover ones back in the day.
When my business partner and I started our carpet cleaning business in 2014, we picked up a 2006 1.9 Berlingo with around 45k miles on it from London. Ten years later now with 90k miles on it, it's still going strong. Despite being a beat up old work van it's never let us down when we needed it, and despite us now using a larger 2016 Renault Trafic as our main company vehicle, I will NEVER sell it.
There's been several times when the other van or our personal cars have been out of action for various reasons, and every time this Berlingo has come to the rescue. I saw a post on some other forum once describing them as 'seventy horses that will go on forever' and I couldn't agree more.
We bought a second load of carpet cleaning equipment this year and have just finished refitting the loading bay where all the wood paneling was smashed, and have now painted it all with raptor paint. It's now very much still active as our 2nd operation.
I think the sentimentalist in me probably wants to have it fully resprayed one day, but for now it's still a working van, and other than probably needing a clutch at some point, it's not going anywhere.
I look forward to seeing and reading about how your vans have served you.
Steve
