Need help with AC

Hi there.

I`m helping out a friend of mine who owns a Berlingo Multispace from 2004. It suffers from AC problems and the system was filled some months ago at a dealer. Worked fine then. But now the AC will not cut in when prompted. The light in the dash is on, but the magnet does not get any power. When i jump the magnet it starts the compressor, and the temperature into the coupe drops down to approx. 12 degrees celsius from approx 20 degrees (when the compressor was not running)

But, there are some but`s...

-The ambient temperature when checked was approx 14 degrees, and there has to be a sensor telling the system that it cannot start the ac when ambient is too low. Do anyone know anything about this? What location does this have?

-Maybe there are some relay that controls the system, and that may be defective. Anyone know anything about that? Location?

-The coupe fan does not work on the first 3 steps, only in position 4. Guess there`s some resistors which is broken. Will not be amazed if these are produced by Magneti Marelli.

-Auxilliary heating will not work either, unsure if there are some connection to this at all, but wanted to mention it in case it has.

What engine is it you have?
I assume its Left Hand Drive.

What is your RPO number(5 digits) its on a sticker inside where you open drivers door it might be something like 09804.
Post these & I can then have a look a wiring diagrams for you.
