misfire when warm
#1
Hi guys,
my 1.4i petrol berlingo has developed a misfire. The car starts fine with no sign of misfire. Misfire is only evident when the engine reaches normal operating temperature and is more pronounced at low speed, often stalling when the vehicle is stationary. I've changed the plugs but this hasn't solved the problem. has any one else had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
As it only seems to occur when warmed up I suspect some electical component is breaking down. My guess is the coil pack. Can you substitute a known good one to eliminate that?
I'm sure the more knowlegeable can suggest more things to try.
Regards,
Griff

Hi, make sure your intake manifold nuts are tight and any thing else where air can leak in.
