hello, i recently had to fit a new clucth cable due to a branch got snaped the old one, i fitted the new but it has snaped in same place, so i dont want to fit another one intill i find the proble3m. does anyone know how and why this is happening? any info would be greatfully recived,

First thing I'd check is the the route the cable follows. Make sure the branch didn't damage a pulley and leave a sharpe edge somewhere that cuts the cable.

it snapped at the end where it conects to the clutch, i have fitted a new clutch now thinking that maybe the problem which the cable is now fine an the van drives but now have a small noise when the clutch is not ingaged!!! any help on that?

I had exactly the same problem and 2 clutch cables later ended up having a new clutch kit fitted and the problem was down to an inner?? sleeve that the thrust bearing slide on. Most people dont have this sleee replaced when having a clutch fitted and from what i can gather it seems to be a common problem
