Oil around the Turbo
#1
Hi, I am new to this forum and had a question to ask about a 57 plate 1.6 berlingo. I went to view one today and on inspecting the engine I found a lot of oil around the turbo so I felt underneath the engine and had a drop of oil on my finger, I just wondered what the problem could be here? i didnt buy the van because I was worried about this problem, is this anything major?
Thanks Alex.

I've had a 57 plate 1.6 HDi from new,now at 30,000m.
It's always had oil "mist" around the turbo but uses no oil so the loss in my case is minimal.
