Would I be right to assume the code reader skt on my 08 Citroen Berlingo is none standard. I bought a code reader with I thought a standard plug, well all the ones I looked at are the same, but the skt on the lingo altho simler has a lug which sticks out obviously meant for the dealers plug to clip onto, this stops my reader fitting properly and I dont want to force it, does anyone know of an adaptor or simler I can use.?

file a bit out of your reader plug so it fits, as the pin out should be standard mate.

Out of interest, which code reader have you purchased and does it work ok? Still debating whether to buy and keeping my money in my arse pocket...

I have a VAG405 handheld OBD2 computer - cost me £60 off ebay, excellent tool. Specialised for VAG motors but works on anything. The ELM is a good system too but bulky using a laptop in the car even for diagnostics, I prefer a good handheld.
