Alloys # post de-cat
#1
Since the de - cat process I've found that the hearse carries considerably more speed into and therefore around 40 to 60 mph traffic islands
However she feels troubled and wallows through corners with a tendancy to slew to the left somewhat :brickwall:
UNTILL NOW , TA-DAH , I'm the proud owner of a set of 15" pug 307 alloys complete with rubber and longer bolts and fitted by seller . . . a mate of a mate of a mate , RESULT
The difference is quite noticeable , considerably more surefooted
Bring on the speeding fines Confusedillyme:

How could you think to post a thread and not give us any pics?? Did they fit straight on with no spacers front and back nil?

I know I'm totally computer illiterate Confusedcratch: I really need a tutorial from swmbo 'cos I've taken pics just need to post Confusedillyme: Promise to do it this weekend
The wheels themselves actually came off a lingo that got scrapped so I was confident they would go straight on , and they did .
I was lucky that the seller was a mechanic and storing wheels at the garage where he worked 'cos he fitted them off the ramp and me steelies slung in the back

Looks good..they're not 307 alloys though, they're "Lasers" (306 XSI wheels)

The garage that performed the de-cat simply chopped in a stainless pipe !
