dw8 head on xud block

Looks like my xud head is scrap. i have got a spare dw8 engine was wondering if the head will fit the xud . i recons it will

finally sorted it , the short answer is YES the DW8 head does fit and work on the XUD block. Mine is now running sweet.

Is it still running sweet? I'm facing same problem and wanted to know if dw8 head will work on my xud block, are the exhaust ports and everything the same? Will there be any difference at all when it comes to using my old cam, manifolds etc etc? Cheers
