Starter Motor / AA Error P16D9
#1
Hi all,

Hope all is well, my wifes 2020 1.2 Puretech has failed to start today, weak attempt at starting, not even cranking as though flat battery, but all electrics fine and battery tested fine.

The AA came and was diagnosing for a good 90 minutes, it kept putting itself in "energy economy mode activated" until he finally found Error;

P16D9 Error - Starter/Alternator control module
Actuator Stuck

We managed to bump start it so mechanically engine is fine and it drives, but just wont start under it's own steam.

I'm going to try and reach out to local garages but wondered if anyone has experienced similar issues, fuse F21 looks fine although I didnt swap out as run out of light (and couldn't find a spare)

Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks

Chris
