Hi to everyone here, just joined,i own a small garage in Bacup Lancashire with my son and before you say where is Bacup? its between Rochdale and Burnley as a guide,we are always very helpfull and willing to assist people but i do need some help.
I have an 02 berlingo 2.0 hdi that will not start, bought it as a non runner needing a new high pressure pump, bought one and fitted it along with new timing belt and it was obvious that someone had fitted new parts to get to this conclusion anyhow wouldnt start, scanned with the latest snap on software and no codes, chescked for fuel pressure which is good, had injectors tested and they all passed even tried a replacement ecu bsi and chip.
In my desperation i had a friend tow me for about 4 miles whilst i had it in gear to try and get it to produce a fault code which it didnt,i noticed that if i pressed the accelerator i could see blue smoke from the rear, when i got back the engine was warm and so was the water in the radiator which leads to the injectors not nbeing told to allow fuel through,it will run briefly on easy start
Can anyone help or has cured one previously
I recently bought lexia and have been having trouble loading it,had a faulty disc and still just trying to get into how it all works
