Sliding door stop
#1
So I opened my drivers side sliding rear door and heard something fall out, turns out to be the pin bracket thing that the door hooks into to hold it back. it has rotted and disintegrated.

Anyone got one or know where I can get one without a 40 odd quid postage fee that the one I found on fleabay has?

If not gonna have to extract the remnants for a pattern and try and fashion one.

Thanks.

No local scrappy?
I'll bet a home made one would work without looking so complicated.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Unfortunately no scrappys round my area where you can look for and remove stuff yourself anymore and trying to explain what I want and them understanding what I'm on about and actually taking it off without wrecking it is a gamble as most employ orangutans.

I'm thinking it'll be easier to make a replacement from some box section of a suitable size cut one side out, drill hole for mounting screw and pin holes, then reuse the pin from the old one.
