What's the rear disk min thickness on these? Mine are nicely lipped but my AI assisted searches are giving me some crasy results.
Do you get MOT failed for lipped disks, bought the wrong replacements as I need those with onboard bearings at 4 x the cost.
TIA

Disks pads drums and shoes beyond the manufacturer service limit cannot be failed if they working properly and present no other problem -that's from the governments own website.
Front 24 mm on disk,2mm on pads
Rear. 10 mm on disk 3mm on pads
The service limit is only there to ensure there's no metal to metal contact between major service intervals.
You would get an advisory at most -and of course it's an opportunity of easy money for the garage.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

I always thought there was a min allowable wear tolerance on disks.
So a solid rear disk say could be reduced by half it's original width to 5mm as long as it was structurally sound, passed the braking test and the pads weren't overly worn to 3mm or less?

MOT failed on suspension arm worn bush/pin, what do folks do just replace the whole arm? Seems cheap enough, rather than faff about pressing a new bush.

Is that front or rear suspension?
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspecti...l-vehicles
The bottom line is that they should not fail it providing it presents no danger.
You could be unlucky an get an a*hole examiner who thinks he knows best, like the one who decided my rear indicator bulbs weren't orange enough.
Forty quid to change them.
It is on my to do list.

NS Front lower suspension arm, bonding between a rubber bush and it's housing has deteriorated as it's pulling apart. Ordered a pair of repro arms for £44.
