Rear Seat Back Carpet (or Not)

I'm looking to upgrade my 2019 Flair for a 2020/21 model.

I notice that the while my 2019 model has 3 separate rear seats with carpeted backs, 2020 onward Flair models have 2+1 rear seats with painted steel backs. The 2+1 seats wont be much of a problem to me but I'm sure I'll scratch up the seat backs quite quickly. Have any forum readers found a solution to this? carpet/covers???

I have also been looking at what to put there. I was thinking of cutting a piece of thin MDF or plywood to shape, glueing thin carpet to it and securing it with self tapping screws.
