Small tube of Farecla G3 and some elbow grease with a microfibre will probably do. If they are metal deep scratches you need to add paint to fill the scratches and knock it back with very fine wet n dry. YouTube is your friend.

Thanks, not metal deep, you can't even feel the scratch, I'll give them a ring tomorrow

This is what I use for minor polishing, https://www.meguiars.co.uk/product/ultim...und-450ml/

Amazon, eBay, Halfords and the like stock it.

As to the cause, one possibility is cats - I've had them scratch bonnet paintwork in the past, presumably jumping up onto it when the engine's still warm on cold nights (or just jumping up onto it for the hell of it).

Scrathed bonnet .... hmm I had that !

Went shopping in Lidl and put the goods in a cardboard box as I didn't have a bag.

It was rather heavy so as I got to the car I placed it carefully ( or so I thought ) onto the bonnet whilst I dug out my keys.

Never thought about it until a few days later when the sun shone on the car thus illuminating the scratches / scuffs.

Hey ho and all that and a phew as my Multispace is '07 plated and mainly my dog carrying wagon / general workhorse.

Glad it wasn't a more expensive car, not that I want my " old beast " to get marked up.

Would agree with @notsofast that it's probably cats. I've had the same.

Like @Antdad. I use G3 - the one in the yellow bottle which was recommended to me by my smart repair guy.

It's absolute magic stuff for light scuffs. You only need a very tiny bit. My large bottle should last a lifetime!
