Changing a bulb shouldn’t be too tricky right?
#1
Decided not to pay Halfords to fit new dipped headlight bulb. How hard can it be right?

Well, it removed the bulb ok but can’t get the new one to stay in place.

Manual says to turn it then pull it out. I found it hard to turn but gave it a bit of a wiggle and it came loose.

Replaced the bulb

Now can’t get it back in. Can’t get it to fit and then if I do think it’s sitting in ok and can’t turn it then it comes out.

Does anyone know a trick to try is? Have I damaged it getting it out.

I’m doing this from the inside, under the bonnet so can’t see a thing.

I believe that the low beam bulb in the K9 is an H7

Here is a generic H7 video that clearly shows how to remove/reinstall
