My 54 plate 2.0 HDi Berlingo goes into limp mode on a hard acceleration. The code is p1198. I assumed it was due to the fuel pressure sensor, but apparently not. ( I read that the car should run with the fuel sensor unplugged but it's immediate limp mode with p0082 and p0093 codes, which I cleared). There is what I think is a cold start valve on the right side of the fuel rail. I unplugged that and the car seems to run normally. Can anyone make sense of this, and if it is this valve is it easy to change?
Any insgiht welcome.

Latest. I changed the fuel pressure valve and the cold start valve. No improvement. It threw up codes p1198 and p0087, indicating a fuel pressure issue, Also new fuel filter.

I picked up from Dispatch forum that there is a pump in the diesel tank (on dispatch 2.0 hdi.).
Maybe that could be weak if berlingo has similar system..

Apologies for not updating:
The problem was the O ring in the fuel filter housing not sealing properly!
