I would like to ask if anyone has fitted a drivers and or passenger seat into an M59 Berlingo Multispace from another Citroen model or from another manufacturer ??
If you have can you share the details of which model car and whether it was a direct swap ?
If not a direct swap was there much work altering the seats to fit ?
Any issues with air bags and seat belts ??
Reason for asking is I need better seats and want to keep my " dog wagon " for a few more years.
I don't mind doing some work / mods / brackets etc

I found M59 seats really hard wearing especially compared to M49 multispace which aren't great.
Can't you find an M59 with good seats being broken for spares.
Marketplace on Facebook is great for stuff like this,
I don't have an account myself but borrow my partners to have find what I'm lookin for.

M59 seats are very good overall it's just I need to up the quality somewhat as I have several fused lumbar spine segments and my wife has hip issues.
I have stripped the M59 seats ( several times ) and looked at the idea of fitting new squabs but discarded that idea as unfortunately the uderwired lattice in the base and seat back has sagged over time as well as the foam.
I did try tightening up the lattice and even putting extra metal supports in but this didn't work
Tried additional foam of differing densities to compensate and provide support where needed both in the seat base and back but again no luck.
My seats look good but unfortunately they have had their day.
I could try another set of M59 seats but realistically I doubt I'll be able to find a breaker with a low mileage vehicle.
Quite some years back on another Berlingo I fitted the seats from a Rover CityCar and these seats were brilliant - the car was crap but it had in fact excellent quality seats with a good base and exceptional lumbar support - no side support but then it wasn't a car for cornering ! Lol !
I've had a few Berlingo vans and Multispace over the years and in fact as I went from one to the next to the next I swapped out the Rover seats each time but eventually after galactic miles covered they were scrapped and in my latest M59 I have standard seats which were good at the 40k miles I got the car but now after a few years they have done their work.
Thanks for your suggestion though.

Well good luck, I think I'm right in saying the 306 had similar floor pan?
Maybe look on their forum and see what alternatives they come up with as those cars seem to have a good following.
