Rear doors not working on central locking
#1
Berlihgo 2006, 1.4 petrol.

The rear doors do not work with the central locking. They do work with the key when used in the lock.

I presume I need to remove the black plastic panel and plastic plugs on the inside of driver's side rear door but not  sure what to look for after that.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

The wires from the body to the doors which carry the power to the locks sometimes break with use . The doors opening and shutting can break the wires .

Check that the wires are intact in the flexible tube

Finally got round to checking this. I have removed the rear door inside panel and can feel the pulse from the electric connection when I press the lock on the remote, but the rear door does not get locked.

I can manually lock the rear door with the key.
All other doors lock on the central locking.
I have tried to do the lock reset by holding the lock button for 10 seconds on the key fob with the ignition on (not with the engine started)
The central button on the dashboard above the radio locks all doors except the rear door.

Am I right in thinking it may be a faulty actuator in the rear door panel, if so, how do I go about fixing that?

Many thanks.

I think they work by voodoo, at least mine does.
One week in five it works perfectly.
The other four I rely on
"It's on old bit of french sh1te, won't be anything worth nicking."
It's worked fine so far.
