WHY has psa done this? When you get a Tpms pressure warning it does not say what tyre, or the pressure of the tyre.
If the R LH tyre has a pressure under minimum. The car shows in the dislay that all the tyres have low pressure.

TPMS in the Berlingo is of an indirect kind: no direct pressure monitor, just measuring the rotational difference between individual wheels. No possibility to tell the actual pressure.

I can understand the cost savings of that system but I still wonder something.
When you re-set the low pressure warning the system then has a base line of rotations (or something) to work from.
If one tyre loses pressure, the system detects the change in the base line and the warning comes on.
Why then, if it has been detected, why doesn't it tell you which tyre? It knows one has so is it too difficult/costly for the system to tell you which one it is?

It identifies which tyre? I take it all back then. I'm sure mine didn't a couple of years ago when it came on.
I had a rental car recently as well, different make though, and it came on but didn't specify which tyre.

I always thought it was connected with the ABS and from that could tell which tyre /wheel was turning faster than the others, therefore smaller dia due to the lower air pressure.

When my pressure warning has activated, I can't recall it showing anything on the display screen, other than informing me to check the pressures and then re-set the system. Is there a difference between vans and MPVs? Anyway, I haven't found it much of a nuisance to check all the tyres - it's good practice anyway. On one occasion the warning was activated because I had a slow puncture, on another occasion I had one slightly under-inflated tyre, and on a third time the pressures were all absolutely OK and the warning system was just playing silly buggers

You mean just the generic message on the screen or did you click the diagnostic button which shows a top view of the car?

Edit Reason: Checked handbook

I had no idea that is a feature. That shows you which wheel then? I just saw the generic message apparently.
I'll have to look for that if it happens again. I can't now be certain what I saw but I can say there was no indication of which wheel.
Update - page 106 of my handbook gives info about the under-inflation detection but doesn't mention about how to see which tyre it is.
I'll try if it happens again.

I don't know exactly as I have not had an issue yet. But when you press the diagnoatic button it shows all wheels (top view) displaying "OK" next to each individual wheel. This screen would be pointless if it did not show individuals ones in case there's an issue.
