The drivers door lock was not working on my 2014 Berlingo so I took the passengers door lock and after filing down the guide rail I was able to swop over the 2 locks. The issue now is
that there is no central locking via the drivers door. Is there something I missed?
Thanks for the advice.

Do the other doors unlock via the central locking? Is the vehicle a Van or Multispace version?

Its the Van. The rear door locks and unlocks the sliding side door and thats it. The swopped lock (from the passenger door) on the drivers side now, it only controls that door now . The lock on the passenger side is the faulty one and it does not work at all.

Have you tried the 'old favourite' for all weird faults on the Berlingo the BSI reset?
I suspect the swapped lock isn’t talking to the central locking. Look at the wiring and connections on the driver’s side. If all is good there, give a BSI reset a shot—it’s an often good thing for strange Berlingo problems.

Thanks for the BSI reset advise. I will give it a go and update the thread here.
Do both doors have keyholes? In case the passenger side did not have keyhole, I’d expect the original passenger door lock cannot control the central locking even if it is relocated to driver side. That would have been redundant cost.
If the car has keyholes both sides, AND they both originally controled the central locking, then the locks could be interchangeable.
Attached is the list of different door locks available for B9, depending on the configuration and location. Quite a many.

Both have keyholes. I cannot recall if the Passenger side controlled the Central Locking.
The big issue for me is the keyfob no longer works since it got dunked in Saltwater (Don't ask)
so I am reliant on the key and the central locking.
I am going to try the reset.
I have looked in the fuze box in the passengers side behind the glovebox and cannot see a fuse marked bsi (Pic attached).
What shoud I be looking for?
Have you searched online ?, there are a lot of utube showing how to do it and none need fuses removed .
Watch this one
https://youtu.be/qQwhzngHQw4. You can skip the door lock bit if you don t have central locking.
Because your fob isnt working , without opening the door press the centre console lock button if you can reach it.
