Hello everyone,

Glad to have found the forum as I have purchased a bit of a ‘project’ 2004 Berlingo. Its a gutless 1.9 but glad it has alot less to go wrong! That said i do have plenty to fix mainly due to age and previous owners not being so caring!

Gutless ... yes .... reliable ... YES .... cheap to run ... should be .

I loved my old 1.9D only @ upgraded @ as I had grandchildren / university etc requirements put on me.

That’s what I want, reliability! I hear the old XUD was even more reliable but I think this has got such little on it (no turbo, DPF, adblue) and a basic EGR
