Insurance Shocker !!!
#1
An insurance shocker ??

Well it was for me thats for sure !!!!!!

Last year my Berlingo insurance was £245 Comp for my wife and myself ....

This year the insurance was a mere  £156 Comp for my wife and myself ....

A handsome £ 89  less than the previous year

What the heck is happening .... not that I'm complaining of course.

Anyone else renewing now found a reduction in prices ???

Ours went up last year and was to go up again this year so I changed companies to pay less than we did two years ago.
Now a 2019 K9 1.2 petrol.
Before a 2010 B9 1.6 HDi diesel.

Yes, it has been reported that there has been a drop in insurance prices due in part to repair costs coming down [parts now easier to get as supply chains from most manufacturers are better] plus people driving less in general, so less accidents.

A caveat has been that as car insurance has dropped across the board, most insurers are offering lower renewals but it's still aways advisable to do an on-line comparison as most still offer even lower prices for newer customers. Although my insurance renewal with my existing company did drop this year, an on-line quote for a policy with more cover with another company was £90 cheaper than my original quote from my existing company.
