I got my spare wheel & tyre from Citroën, it came with the same size (205/60-16) tyre, but it was XL. I wasn't bothered but now I'm looking for a new set of tyres and might get the XL version, I was just wondering if anyone has had XL tyres fitted from new?

Not from new but I've put them on a second hand car.
Found them good, firmer with less deflection on cornering, better grip performance, last longer too if you keep the pressures correct. Can be a little noisier than normal tyres.
With my enthusiastic driving style and preferring to " press on " they were worth the extra cost at the time.
Let us know how you get on.

I always use XL Kumho tyres as i was a taxi and regular i had to carry heavier loads. It helps the car on the corners but the did wear a little quicker.
