I do a lot of mileage and the car is parked in an area that can cause corrosion. I am tempted to try some paint touch ups to areas to keep the corrosion at bay.
Does anyone have any recommendations for YouTube videos / channels. Some of it may be done with the likes of Chipex but other bits may need a bit more work.
I got some respraying done last year and wasn't that impressed. Any help greatly appreciated. I don't expect a perfect job as I will have to do it outside, probably once the weather warms up.

Under the bonnet panel at the front is where B9s are let down but other than that its just cosmetic.
If you have stone chips and a dodgy respray then youve already lost the battle for a top price when you sell.
Why worry about it.
It is on my to do list.

You could always make your car look unique by using Dulux and a yard brush. Dead easy I bet.
Slight diversion but some years ago on here wasn't there someone selling an old beat up Berlingo for an exorbitant price because they were an artist and had painted it?

I just tried using lanoguard on the rear subframe the other week as an anti-corrosion measure, will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

I used paint code and got a matched tin of spray off ebay for my M49.
Used rust converter then primer and filler on some deep door scratches and dents and bootlid and some random rust scabs on edge of roof.
The paint match is really great and overall job good. I'm no body shop expert.
I still have to lacquer the areas but for an amateur outdoor job it's worked really well.
Thing I learned from u tube was to fold the masking tape back on itself where creating an edge so paint sprayed has a softer edge say on a panel fold
