Big Grin
So the M59 Berlingo must be getting old .... Lol ! ... no not Lol but true !!!

Today I wanted some bulbs for the dash MFD so went to the local motor factors ... no bulbs there

Apparently they used to stock them but " nobody ever bought them so they chucked them all out a few years back "

Ok next stop Halfrauds, nope they had none there and the assistant advised to try B&Q  ...... seriously !!!  Doh !

I had a local Google and gave up quite quickly.

Thank God for eBay the source of seemingly everything, got 10 bulbs for £4.50 ish delivered

Yes the M59 must be getting old now, getting spares is harder than it was especially since the local Citroen Main Dealer shut down and the nearest is 25 miles away .... Grrr !

No Citroen dealers but there are several Chinese cars Main Dealers in my town, sign of the times - better elect a British Trump

Its the same here for most things- if you need something specific and /or in a hurry youve no chance.
Its ebay or amazon
I find sometimes parts in motion stock things the other factors dont, like caliper fitting kits.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Often use P.I.M. There own website is cheaper than their Ebay store. (No sellers fees going to Ebay) And they still offer free delivery.

I was very suprised though last year when it turned out the local Citroen dealer was the best place to get trim parts for my M59. I just would never have thought they'd still be selling them.

I agree it is getting a bit old now, I still drive mine though. My is getting so old that my plastic dipstick end broke in the dipstick tube, hahaha, fun, fun, fun. So fun that one needs to get off the whole sump, along with the exhaust bits, to be able to remove that end of the plastic dipstick thingy. Manged to coil up a wire and from the dipstick tube it came out, hahah, I could not believe that it came out. Plastic bits getting old now...Still dives though

Happened on mine back in 2016. Had the sump off only to find there is a kink in the dipstick tube that does not allow a broken tip to enter the sump! Good opportunity to inspect the oil pick up strainer though. I replaced my dipper with a metal one that were available back then. Not sure if the still are.
