My ignition key has no fancy buttons on it but obviously has some kind of chip inside. I need a spare cutting and programmed just incase I lose it. Any ideas on cost and availability ? Does it need computer to program it ?

2/3 years ago I was quoted £80 + by Timpsons , as I had an original that they could copy. .
