Part number for B9 XTR/Outdoor coil spring
#1
I have a 2011 Peugot Partner Tepee Outdoor B9. It is same as the Citroen Berlingo Multispace XTR B9, 10mm higher than other B9s. So I wonder that what is the part number for the XTR/Outdoor model's coil springs, and which after-market springs can be used for it? Thank you very much.

Have you tried putting your VIN into the Catcar site to get up the Genuine part number and then searched for compatible part numbers unsing that number?

You haven't stated if you need to replace the front springs or the rear? The rear is a realtively easy job but the fronts are a bit more involved as you need to remove the whole shock absorber assembly and while doing that, you might as well replace the top bearing mounts on the shocks at the same time. Also if replacing the fonts make sure the front hub is properly supported while the shock assembly is out as otherwise the weight of the hub rests on the driveshafts and can damages the gearbox driveshaft seals causing a gearbox oil leak.

You obviously also need a good coil spring compressor as well.

I replaced both my front springs on my Berlingo B9 1.6Hdi XTR Multispace after one snapped.

I used the Parts in Motion website and ordered springs and top mount bearing kits and I think the whole lot was around £100 including delivery [that was in 2023]

I used NAPA springs and Borg+Beck top mount kits. I'll see if I still have the receipt somewhere.

I used KYB RA3561 on an XTR, but there are several variants depending on your specific spec.

Their catalogue is very detailed and should guide you to the specifc ones you need, https://kyb-europe.com/catalogue/
