Does anyone know the torque settings for the 3 allen key bolts for the starter motor (Valeo 1.4Kw) on the M59, 1.6HDi, 2007, 92bhp. I cannot seem to find them anywhere. I can obviously tighten it hard, but do not want to snap a bolt, although it might be pretty difficult to snap these, they look relatively big bolts.
Found 40 Nm for the top bolt and 49 Nm for the other two rear bolts. Haynes for a 1.6 hdi so I think they will be the same for all the diesel berlingos.

My Haynes for my 1.6HDi did not specify any Nm, hence my question. Many thanks, it is a little bit more than what I thought is appropriate, but probably it is so tight in there that will be by hand rather than a torque wrench, hahaha.

Ah, many thanks indeed, yes exactly this one. So, 20Nm for the 3 bolts (70 in diagram), although there is no way one can put a torque wrench there. I tried and failed on that one, hahaha.
