Turbo actuator position sensor
#1
Hi , can anyone recommend a turbo pressure actuator sensor for mu 2014 1.6 diesel 90bhp please ?

The reason I am asking is because Citreon stock parts are about £360 but there obviously is a choice of pattern parts from around £20 to £50

Has anyone had a pattern part successfully fitted or do I need to bite the bullet and sell a kidney ?

TIA for any guidance from personal experience ?

Is there a sticker / identification printed on the sensor ? It could possibly assist in buying one online.

Taking a 'step back' from buying the part. How have you reached the conclusion that this part is at fault? Have you got an error code from a proper diagnostic set-up to point to the compnent being faulty?

The reason I ask is that I cannot remember ever seeing other posts about turbo pressure actuator sensor failure on the 1.6Hdi?

If you are sure of the above, then as @geoff mentioned it might be worth you doing a part number search with the original part number as either on the compnent fitted or if you cannot get anything off that try the catcar info site [put in your VIN to get the correct parts catalogue for your vehicle] and once you have the part number do a search for equivalent parts. There is no reason why a pattern part would not work, after all I'm sure most people on here have used pattern parts on some part of their Berlingos in the overhaul of their vehicles. I know I used pattern parts on both my M59 multispace and B9 Multispace, as some of the genuine PSA group part prices are quite frankly rediculous
