Sliding door corrosion spot

While washing my 2020 van a week or so ago, I spotted a small area of corrosion had started at the bottom of the leading edge of the sliding door. Initially I thought maybe when I'd shut the sliding door vigorously that bit of metal had caught the rear edge of the passenger cabin door, but that can't be the case as the passenger door is unblemished. It's an area that's rather tucked away and unlikely to receive stone chipping, so it must just be an inherent weak spot - maybe the paint coverage is fragile there as the metalwork comes to a sort of point? Anyway, an area to keep an eye on.

Got new doors and rear hatch this week. All were rusting from inside out.

Luckily under warranty.
