Since I've had so many, might as well show some to You
As said, it's my 5-th of the type, so it starts to look like some sort of pattern
So, the first one was actually a 2002 Peugeot Partner, with 2.0 HDi. It was our family's daily driver until steering lock gave out making it a non-starter and as it already needed new front longerons, new rear crossmember, new common rail high-pressure pump and it lacked rear nearside door and rear axle was shot it was decided to leave the best bits and scrap the rest of it. Same happened to a white 1.9 diesel van I bought to get set of winter tires and some other bits and bobs.
By the time I had already bought a 2005 nice silver 1.6 petrol 5dr to replace the old Partner, I started to tinker with bodywork as TÜV (our MOT) marked it as significant flaw. Tinkering got little out of hands and by the time I got to the root cause of rotting floorpan (which was rotten firewall), I also took off the best parts and scrapped the rest.

Then I bought a Sharalaxy for daily driver and also accidentally bought another Berlingo, this one was a 2008 Multispace with Modutop. TÜV also marked few holes in sill and floorpan significant flaws - out goes the floormats to put on some patches, when I started to grind away the rust, I was left with very little of floor left and still it wasn't in condition strong enough to weld something onto it.

Same result as with last two - best bits and pieces came off and rest was sent to scrapyard. In my experience, scrap metal recycling yards are best customers to sell the car to - no whining about rust or dents or scratches.
Time flew and I as Sharalaxy started to show age and mileage (20+ years and 722k km on the clock) I begun search for a next one. Although I was looking for a Sharan or Galaxy, I found a offering hard to not at least check out - a 2003 Berlingo with valid road-worthiness test and losts of new bits for only 350 EUR. In last few months, lots of parts were replaced- new front shocks and springs, new headlights, new exhaust, new discs/pads/drums/shoes, new tires which alone were around 500 EUR altogether. So I shelled out the euros and got myself a Berlingo.
As there was some surface rust on sills and door edges, I started with bodywork. Surface rust turned out to be sills on the last leg, so did some welding and replaced these with nice rustproofing. Also some bulletholes were found in rear quarterpanel, I treated these too with some welding and filler.
Door rollers were also replaced at the time and 200 EUR later I had road-worthy vehicle in my possession. I also got it inspected also and another year of life was granted for it with few notifications - power-steering pressure sensor was getting slimey and front foglights were deteriorating. Although smaller than Galaxy, kids love the Berlingo a lot more, as they still can stand up unside, they now have folding tables and they are no longer smashing doors to other vehicles (rear doors on Galaxy/Sharan open to ca 3 ft/1m in width) with the sliding doors. Also, all our "Three Jolly Fellows" cars (Estonian cartoon/book characters, who were driving a car with similar shape) were warm all year round (only the 2005 and 2007 ones had AC, but we can manage those 4 days a year without it.
Current plans are to use it as daily driver for few more years as it is practical, easy and cheap to repair and cost-effective to keep running in current economic situation.
I am looking to make a small lift (ca 20 mm) and upgrade alternator to 180A unit, install additional electric heater from HDi to defrost windscreen faster, fit a subwoofer and amplifier, add some interior lights for rear row, boot and footwells, replace passenger seat with the folding seat from van in order to store some of the stuff I carry with me for purposes mainly of helping out others, like booster cables, tow rope, some ratchet straps ect(I'd like to ceep boot empty on for everyday commuting) and upgrade brakes to 287mm on front and discs in rear - looking for a Picasso rear axle as these have mostly disc brakes here in Estonia.
I's sorry for too little photos, as I am more into repairs than taking pictures.
I'll keep You guys posted with future works if You are interested.
