Rear seat belt breakage
#1
Hi I have just experienced a really weird problem. I noticed a persistent knocking coming from the rear seat area so stopped to take a look. It was the rear l/h seat belt buckle banging against the trim, so hey that's ok, but on further inspection the buckle and part of the belt came away in my hand having been completely severed! Thought i'd check the r/h one and to my surprise that was exactly the same! It appears both had worn away where the belt enters the trim. I haven't used the belts for years (no back seat drivers/passengers). Has anyone come across this before? Huh
