I got a letter from Citroen recently requiring I book car into Cit garage for software update & oil change. Update is to increase oil pressure & also they have app to listen to timing chain for excess noise. If noise is excessive you get an entire replacement top end of camshafts carrier & chain & tensioner FOC provided service history is all there & mileage is less than 150k.
Mine is ok at 46k miles though. Update being done. No oil change as I get it serviced at my local Cit garage & it was changed in March. Oil requirement is Total Ineo RCP 5w30 which any Cit garage will be using but other leading brands Shell Castrol etc do same spec oil.
So provided they can trace you there should be a letter through post for all 22reg diesel owners. If not then contact your local Cit garage & book it in.

Yes just for the diesel. Quite impressed the way Stellantis is supporting this engine. Under 10 years old & 150k miles provided service history is complete they wil put on new top end or replace engine as required if chain is noisy or fails. They have developed an app to listen to chain noise. They don’t actually state that service history must be from Citroen garage but probably a good idea to have Cit garage service history then no arguments. Anyway mine was done this morning while I waited so all good.
