The Wave ...
#1
Wink
Lingo Wave..
Driving back from the lodge today on the A470 Blaenau Ffestiniog> Betws-y-coed mountain road (north wales)  I passed another berlingo, funny thing is that the driver and passenger gave me a massive wave, now I used to have a landi and this waving to one another was common place but what I didn't realise was this greeting is also in the fold of berlingo owners
Has anyone else experienced this sort of behaviour ?
Do you wave at others ?

I find it hard not to wave, but this is a throwback from my old VW camper days. Really a Berlingo is just another car & I guess most owners would think it daft to wave. I guess the odd one that does wave, posts on this forum. Big Grin

Wave frantically and lick the windows whilst doing so....... Doesn't tell you this in the owners manual though.......

Ever since joining this forum i do tend to look at other berlingo/partner vehicles when driving around just to see if they wave or not but no one ever has, maybe i will have to make the move and wave at them first

Strange but since buying one, I seem to see them everywhere, have they suddenly become popular?

I think you get that effect with any car you buy.

I don't bother waving, for all I like the Berlingo, it is just another car (ducks and runs for cover).

I can remember (back in the 60s) my father signalling to other VW beetle drivers. The odd thing though was the signal or wave was a hand raised on top of the steering wheel. I did wonder whether it wasn't a p*** take on the Nazi salute.

I have found myself doing this also, but not until the other day did I actually witness the wave, maybe I'll start waving or shall I just show the finger ?
