[How To] Post pictures in your thread.

A few people have asked me or have had difficulty posting pictures up in either their threads, or replies to posts, so here is a walk through guide explaining how its done!


OPTION 1 - INSERTING AN UPLOADED PICTURE

1 Click the TinyPic link in the bottom left hand corner (Circled Red)

2 Click browse and find your picture; where ever it is stored on your PC. Once you have selected it, click 'Upload Now!'

3 Once uploaded, you will be given a link for forums; click this box once and it will select it all. Then to copy it you can either: (a) Click Ctril+C (b) Right click and select copy.

4 Once that is copied, close the window and come back to your 'new thread' page, and either (a) Ctrl+V or (b) Right click and paste to paste it into your post.

NOTE: If you already have an image uploaded, or you want to share an image you found on in the internet, do the following.

Find the direct link to the image, for example

You can usually tell if its a direct link because it will end filename.jpg or filename.png (or any other picture file extention.

Once you have this direct link, copy it and then do one of the following:

(1) Add the following tags around the link you have pasted into the thread:

(2) Click the 'Insert Picture' button (shown below) and just paste the link only into the prompt box

OPTION 2 - ADDING IMAGE AS ATTACHMENT

1 Click Browse, (shown below)

2 As above, browse to your file, and select it. Then click 'Update Attachment' and let the page 'load' as it uploads your image to BF.co.uk.

3 Your image should then be hopefully uploaded. You can firm this by seeing your image listed on the left, and the ability to either 'Remove' or 'Insert into Post' on the right.

4 Click 'Insert into Post' and you will then see the following pop up into your post:

You are all done! You can move the attachment to any place in the thread you want.
