Brittany Berlingos!
#1
Ok, So I make a living out of carting people back and to from the airports, Listening to the miserable delays, 15kg limits, removal of clothing at security, having to go through the 'nudist scan', and on return it seems to cancel out almost any fun they had on Holiday, so last week I decided to take the Family to south Brittany via ferry, And now I wonder why I didnt do it earlier! It might of been in a C4 Picasso (same floorpan as mk3,at least) But the Berlingo has got to be Tailor made for this! A guy at the site had an Early Berlingo and managed to cram in twice as much as his neighbour who came along in a big stupid 4x4 (one of only a few 4x4's I saw though Brittany, all were from Blighty), 2 coolboxes, the kids cereal, towels, kitchen sink...you would never get that lot on ryan air/easy jet!! Im sure most of you have done the drving in france thing already, but any Berlingists that havent, it comes highly reccomended:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes I bought my original 'lingo for the space for camping gear but I tow a caravan with the current one. I also thought it would be a good car for France as in case it broke down I would never be more than a couple of miles from a garage that could repair it. I have yet to test this theory tho. Big Grin

Great place to holiday. Great food and wine, uncrowded roads, friendly natives. We've camped and self catered there for ages and this year we'll be taking Bernarde our newly acquired Berlingo back to the land of his birth. Just had the aircon recharged (took advantage of Citroen offer spotted on this forum) so looking forward to some warm weather.
